Introducing Teo Brothers...

The brothers Dave (’85) and Gary (’88) were quite young when they got interested in music. They first were introduced to music at their cousin’s, who had a DJ set with house vinyl. In the beginning they got instructions from their cousin and 1 year later they had their own DJ set. The music that they played was house music. They wanted to find out where house came from and so they got busy doing their own research. Exploring local vinyl shops in Amsterdam and buying house vinyl to hear and learn from more producers.
During that time they listened to big producers like Roger Sanchez, Hollis P Monroe, Jean Jacques Smoothie, Kerri Chandler and Daft Punk.
After a couple of years of listening to different styles of house, they had set their heart and sound into 1 style, Soulful/Beach house music.
In 2003 they had landed their first gig. Their first gigs were in cafes and clubs in Amsterdam and outside.

In 2009 the brothers decided to form a DJ group called “Teo Brothers”.
In 2010 they got the chance to play at big events and from then on, they got a residency in Rico’s, Ijmuiden. They played alongside Gregor Salto, Brian S, Dennis Ferrer(US), Gene Farris(US), Victor Coral and Ricky Rivaro.
The last years they are getting along with Ableton and making house productions in their own style.
In 2011 they signed a contract with 7 stars music. Their debut release Teo Brothers – “Summer at the beach” with vocal of Saga Bloom got a lot of very good and positive feedback. They even got a response from their idol DJ/producer Roger Sanchez.
3 months later the second release under 7 stars music’s wing was called Teo Brothers – “The Good Days” with remixes of FiguDs and Mickey Destro. This one was a huge success in the summer of 2011.
Now the Teo Brothers have releases on: Randall Records(UK), BigGrooveRecords(UK), Punky Records, 666 Recordings(Colombia) and Vethmusic.
Their new release on Vethmusic and on 666 Recordings was played on Fresh FM by DJ Jurgen. Teo Brothers - Back In Time and Big Room are coming soon!
The release on Randall Records was used by Luis Del Villar – Ibiza Sensation podcast as openings track.
Now the Teo Brothers have their own radio show on Posh FM in London. It's called "Going House" and they have listeners around the world.

'Kings of Ace' returns to ADE!

All Ace artists partying together on one stage, an exceeded curfew, fireworks, confetti and a giant LED-screen filled stage. It has been almost year ago, but the memories of last year’s spectacular ADE edition of ‘Kings of Ace’ still remain. In a sold out The Sand over 3000 people experienced one of most anticipated highlights of the annual Amsterdam conference. A year later, Ace Agency’s ‘Kings of Ace’ return to The Sand on October 20th to surpass the unforgettable 2011 edition.
‘Kings of Ace’ equals a top notch line-up and this year’s selection of artist just proves that once again. Ace Agency’s complete roster including Afrojack, Apster, Bassjackers, Billy the Kit, Bobby Burns, Franky Rizardo, Jaziah, Leroy Styles, Mitch Crown, Quintino, R3hab, Shermanology, Sidney Samson and the Shapeshifters will find their way to The Sand on the closing day of ADE. The latest members of the Ace Agency family, globetrotter-DJ Thomas Gold and Indonesian sensation Angger Dimas, will make their first appearance on the agency’s showcase. As always Ambush, MC Roga and Zawdi MC will vocally guide the crowds during the night.

Art Bleek - The Time

French production wizard Art Bleek returns with his fantastic new full-length album. The Time is a delicious aural lulling, slipping languidly and confidently between deep house and techno to bring about a deep sense of satisfaction in the listener.

Warm rhythms lope across the veldt, underpinning an album that has a more laid-back tone than Art Bleek's previous full-length release. 2011's Tilt was a punchy, angular affair, whilst this feels relaxed and blissful. The tracks move organically, fusing complicated layers with ease to create lush, cinematic soundscapes.

Standout tracks include Sheer Addiction, a bouncy track that bubbles along over some neatly executed syncopations, and Super Blue,which despite its name isn't at all dreary or sad. The power of the track is such that the visual imagery it conjures is undeniable, with a positive vibe that equates to a steady drip of endorphins.

Constant City has a melodic hook is so likeable that it is instantly forgiven for treading familiar territory. Confused is anything but, and delivers an on-point reaction to a brave vocal sample. From beginning to end, The Time is a highly accomplished work that will satisfy both the trained ear and the casual listener alike.

The Time will be released on Eevonext, a label with a focus on 'elegant electronic music'. They have a longstanding relationship with Art Bleek, having put out his second album and several EPs. Of The Time, they say to keep an eye out for the "touches of daring vocal incantations...supported by surgical, incisive kicks and imperceptibly shifting elliptical pads and frequencies."

Evoking ever-so-slightly the spirit of the psychedelic, The Time is a reflection of the place where it was created. Art Bleek settled in LA at the end of 2010, and the move seems to be paying off. These days he is trading in travel for more time in the studio, giving him the opportunity to develop his unique production style and direction.

Art Bleek's approach and highly developed sense of sound stems from his classical training, which he received from a young age in both France and the USA. An accomplished saxophonist as well as being a producer and DJ, his affection for multiple styles of music shines through in his productions. His eclectic record collection houses jazz, nu-jazz, broken beats, bossanova, world, soul, rare grooves and electronic music.

Art Bleek has released two full-length albums, multiple EPs and appeared on countless compilations. He has worked with talents such as Ursula Rucker, Voice, Nya, Noelle Scaggs, Charlie Sputnik, Airelle Besson, Trevor Loveys and Chris Belsey to name just a few.

MIKE S.KREAMA (Church Of Mixology/ Groovaz!) is rockin' in and out of Cologne (Artheater, Gebaeude9, Apropo, Gloria, Liquid Sky, Koenigswasser, Kantine, Station Bar, Paeff, Filmhaus, 68elf, Stereo Wonderland, Todtalbar to name a few), Aachen (MuBu, AZ, Wild Rover, Malteserkeller), Maastricht, Vaals/NL (Spuugh), Gent, Hasselt/ Belgium, Düsseldorf (Alma, Cahill), Essen (Baikonur, Capribar), Bielefeld, Bonn, Oldenburg and even Thailand and Malaysia for some gigs. For almost 20 years on da turntables and about 30 years of making music he's developed a wide range style of funky, electronic, organic music. As a guitar-, drum- and bassplayer in about 20 bands of also Punk & Rockbands as well as Funk, Ska, Reggae & Jazz. So his style is also influenced a lot by handmade music. Being singer in some bands also developed his feeling for vocal music and rap. After last year involving in the movie-production of "Sonic Mirror" with Billy Cobham and Mika Kaurismäki in his profession as a media designer, he started to produce own tracks, which are developing now and will soon be presented live. Lately he's forming a team with his Dj-Mate DAMNZK (Church Of Mixology) from Düsseldorf. After their debut @ Hörbar/ Oberstdorf/ Allgäu in February 2010 they got enormous feedback with regular gigs in Cologne and Duesseldorf! So stay tuned for more blastin' funk and deepest pounding breakz of S.KREAMA & DAMNZK!
